August 13th - August 15th
Aguanga, California
(Northeast of Palomar Mountain in Southern California)
Limited to a small group of 8 people
Sit back while we take you on a journey through the cosmos. Hear the stories written in the stars, the myths and legends of the constellations that have been passed down for generations. No need to worry about large crowds or light pollution. Just relax in your included stargazing chair and enjoy the quiet desert and the stars above.
Using a state-of-the-art modern telescope, we'll show you a view the heavens like never before. Tour through deep space with a high powered telescope and see the Moon, galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae with your own eyes.
As the Moon sets in the western horizon late at night, we will lay back in our stargazing chairs with a prime view during the peak of the best meteor shower of 2021. With nights of stargazing, we’ll have more opportunities to see as many meteors as possible!
Please note this itinerary is subject to change, this is here to give you an idea of what to expect
Friday
Arrive in the late afternoon for a meet and greet. After we go over the agenda and get to know one another, we will have a quick discussion on stargazing techniques while we enjoy dinner and a sunset.
Once the stars come out, sit back in your stargazing chair with drinks and snacks as you are taken on a tour of the night sky. After that, we will have a short break while waiting for the Moon to set, then reconvene for the peak of the meteor shower later in the night.
Saturday
Wake up with a cup of coffee or tea and a morning meal as the day begins. We then head out to Lake Hemet, where we will spend our afternoon swimming, hiking, with a refreshing lunch by the water.
After we reconvene from our daytime activities, we will enjoy another beautiful sunset. Dinner will be served as we prepare for another night of observation.
Once night falls and our eyes are adapted to the dark, we will explore deep space like never before! With a high powered telescope, you will view various objects while learning fascinating facts about each one. We then take to our beloved stargazing chairs as we prepare for another night of viewing the meteor shower after the Moon sets.

Our #1 goal is to ensure you have an enjoyable weekend filled with stars and beautiful views! That being said, sometimes the weather ruins our plans. While there are over 300 clear nights a year in this area, we cannot control the weather.
If the weather looks at least 50% clear 5 days before the event, we will move forward as planned. If the weather conditions are poor, we can either reschedule for another weekend in the future, or we will provide you a full refund. Once we arrive at the location, no refunds are allowed.
